Quilt Camp

PATCHWORK OF GRACE QUILT CAMP 2007

Quilt Camp is for beginners to advanced sewers.  Bring your own sewing machine and supplies, set up on a camp table and sew all night if you'd like.  We'll take care of meals, cleanup, spiritual refreshment, and a demonstration workshop for all levels.  Com and n enjoy a relaxing retreat of creativity, fun, excellent food, door prizes and lots of stress free hours to quilt/sew while sharing fellowship with those of us who savor "just a little time away" to do what we want with our projects.  for a grand finale - we'll finish up with a  quilt show by YOU!!

Bring your quilts, finished or not, beginner or advanced to share.

  • For Ladies ages 13 and up.

  • Cost: $45, $35 if pre-registered by March 4; Cost is $25 for those who will come Saturday only.

  • Time: 5p Friday - 7pm Saturday

  • Speaker- Nancy Hockley

Nancy Hockley has lived in the Inland Northwest for over the past 30 years, working in a variety of medical, educational and computer technology fields. A 2002 graduate of Whitworth College and Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), she holds a B.A. in Organizational Management and a Sign Language Interpreter Certificate from SFCC. Before working at the EasternWashington Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (EWCDHH), Nancy has worked as a teacher, dental assistant, EMT and as a computer technology aide at the SpokaneVeterans Hospital. A technology enthusiast, she also enjoys riding motorcycles, ventriloquism, singing and playing guitar.  She has three grown children, two grandsons, Beau and Gideon. She lives on a farm near Chewelah, WA with her husband Chuck. In her spare time she helps her daughter raise and process over two thousand range fed chickens each summer.  She attends Crossroads Community Church in Valley, WA.

If you would like to share:  We will need several ironing boards and irons for everyone to use for the weekend.  If you would be willing to share your iron/board, please indicate that you will be bringing them on your registration slip.  We'll also have a community scrap table if you have fabric you are done with and are willing to donate for others to use.
